Enthusiasm is infectious. It motivates people to take action and learn about something new. Obviously, that makes enthusiasm one of the most powerful assets an organization can possess, even though it will never appear as a line item on a balance sheet.
But that’s what makes us so excited to introduce you to OneDay’s new Director of Product, Ryan Gray, and the space he’s going to launch us into – his pure enthusiasm over our company and platform’s limitless potential. So take a few minutes to get to know Ryan and I’m sure you’ll be walking with a bounce in your step, too.
A History of Success
As the old saying goes, there's simply no substitute for experience. Obviously, when it comes to the person responsible for steering an organization's product, an enviable track record speaks volumes. Because when someone has been there and done that, the entire team dreams a little bigger and reaches a little farther.
To that point, Ryan has been nothing but incredibly successful at every stop in his career, one that includes key sales and marketing leadership positions in companies like KPMG, Spectrum Reach, and Cigna, amongst others. Couple that experience with his BA in Organizational Leadership from the University of Cincinnati – not to mention his genuine passion for what he does – and you’re left with a truly visionary leader that knows how to help an organization and its product to the sales funnel promised land.
The Ever-Important Culture Fit
Of course, it doesn't matter how effective a person might be in driving product sales and development if they don't mesh well with a company's people, culture, mission, and vision. Thankfully, that isn't something we ever have to worry about with Ryan.
In fact, as he would tell you himself, Ryan felt a sense of comfort and familiarity throughout the interview process, something that only swelled as he met more people from the OneDay team. To a person, he continually heard about our healthy, fulfilling work environment and culture from team members exuding pure excitement about OneDay's long-term opportunities and potential.
Obviously, given what the entire world has been through in the last couple of years – not to mention the incredibly strong labor currents from the Great Resignation – culture fit is more important than it's ever been. But as Ryan put it, "(OneDay) has been extremely refreshing considering the level of burnout I hear about from colleagues at different companies."
A Blindingly Bright Future
Going forward, Ryan sees significant opportunities in further evolving our products to meet the ever-changing needs, expectations, and sophistication of our clients and prospects. Nearly every day, we hear about new use cases and opportunities around our platform, presenting an exciting challenge to Ryan and the rest of the team.
Sure, trying to predict the future is never a walk in the park, especially when our clients keep discovering innovative ways to utilize OneDay's video sales and marketing solution. However, with an absolute belief that we have the ideal person to tackle that exciting challenge, we can't wait to see what the future holds for our company as Ryan helps steer us forward.
