This summer, I had the amazing opportunity to work at OneDay as a Marketing Intern. OneDay is a Texas-based software-as-a-service (SaaS) company that empowers businesses to drive revenue growth and customer engagement using video storytelling technology.
From start to finish, this internship has been one of the best experiences I have had! It has helped me grow immensely on a personal and professional level. At OneDay, I had the privilege to work alongside some of the smartest and kindest people who have pushed me to succeed. My supervisor and the rest of the Marketing department welcomed me with open arms and always allowed me to ask questions, give input, fail, succeed, and grow!
I’ve gotten to learn from some of the best, whether it’s OneDays CEO, Clint Lee, or the VP of Marketing Carter Severns. Carter taught me so much about Marketing and what it looks like to build a brand from the ground up. Something he said to me that will always stick with me is, “If you aren’t marketing to someone, you’re marketing to no one.”
As a Marketing Intern, I worked directly with the Marketing team to help with their content marketing strategy and execution, organizing events, data analysis and upkeep for contacts in HubSpot, and much more. It's hard to put into words exactly what I did because working for a start-up means every day brings new adventures, which I love!
Overall, I am forever grateful to the OneDay team for taking me under their wing and helping me grow in my professional career. OneDays culture is unlike any other company I have worked for. OneDay’s team is positive, nurturing, and empathetic. Everyone cares about everyone and works together to help push this company to be the best it can be, and I’m thankful I got to be a part of it.
